XPENG announced a 2027 European arrival for the L05 at Paris Night on 11 October, the evening before the Paris Motor Show. On stage, the covered SUV appeared beside the L03 under the words “L05 landing next year”.
I attended the presentation at Paris Night. XPENG has not announced a Danish sales date.
A larger SUV alongside the L03
The five-seat L05 measures 4,870 mm long on a 2,940 mm wheelbase in its Chinese type-approval filings. It is 220 mm longer than the L03, with another 90 mm between the axles.
XPENG is also teasing the car in China as the Mona L05, with sales planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
European specifications still to come
XPENG has not released Danish pricing or trims. China’s filings cover both a battery-electric model and a range-extended version; they do not establish the European powertrain range.
