Outside China, 13,326 cars were delivered, 166% more than in the same month a year earlier and also a record for a single month. That is just over one in four of the cars XPENG delivered in October; the other 36,911 were delivered in China. In September the group total was 41,256 cars.

Mona L05 and GX

The XPENG Mona L05 went on sale in China in October with an introductory offer from CN¥139,800, and deliveries began on 1 November. According to XPENG, the limited batch of cars for quick delivery sold out three minutes after the launch. We have written separately about the launch in China, and in Europe the model will make its debut at the Brussels Motor Show.

XPENG’s Weibo post says the GX remains among the leaders in China’s market for large SUVs priced above CN¥300,000. In the Middle East the model has taken almost 4,000 orders, even though prices there have not yet been announced. The model is covered on the GX page.

Robotaxi moves towards operation

On 26 October, XPENG received approval to run L4 Robotaxi demonstration operations across all of Guangzhou. XPENG describes it as a step from technical validation towards operation and testing of the business model.

The delivery figures cover all markets. Danish registrations are listed month by month in the registration statistics.
