Norwegian buyers had only the G3 to choose from before XPENG expanded its range in 2021-2022. The P7 joined it in October 2021, followed by the P5 and G3i in May 2022.

27 October 2021: P7 sales opened
The P7 went on sale in Norway at prices from NOK 447,820 for the rear-wheel-drive Super Long Range version. Prices for the four-wheel-drive High Performance started at NOK 507,820. The P7 Wing with scissor doors started at NOK 599,900 and was sold in limited numbers. At the time XPENG had 17 sales outlets and 21 service points in Norway, set up with local dealer partners.
The battery was 80 kWh. At launch XPENG gave a range of up to 530 km WLTP for the rear-wheel-drive version. For the four-wheel-drive version the company gave an acceleration figure of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The car had XPILOT 2.5 and Xmart OS with English menus and English voice control. Equipment included a Dynaudio system and light bands all the way round the cabin. Test drives were to begin in the middle of November.
19 May 2022: The Oslo store opened with the P5 and G3i
XPENG launched the P5 and G3i as it opened its Bjørvika store, making Norway the first European country with the full XPENG range. The G3i was the facelifted G3. It had hidden door handles and 108 LEDs in the front. The Coral Green paint was inspired by Chinese porcelain. The car had a panoramic windscreen and XPILOT 2.5 as standard, plus V2L and a digital key over Bluetooth. Nordea handled the finance and Gjensidige the insurance.
The Bjørvika store was XPENG’s fourth own Brand Experience Store in Europe, after openings in Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands earlier that year. The 17 sales outlets were dealer-run; the Oslo store was XPENG’s own.
The flying car X2 was to be displayed in the store in the run-up to the EVS35 conference in Oslo in June.
Ten thousand cars in Norway by 2026
In May 2026 XPENG said car number 10,000 had been delivered in Norway. In July the company was, by its own account, Norway’s best-selling Chinese EV brand. In August it marked 10,000 XPENGs registered new in Denmark.
The P7 model page has more on the car. The markets page gives an overview of the countries where XPENG sells.
