Trims and prices

There are three trims. They all use the same 86.2 kWh gross / 82.7 kWh net NCM pack. List prices are from the Danish website and applied from the 2023 launch until the leftover-stock campaign in 2025. Compare the trims in Compare specs.

XPENG Danmark sold the last cars off the lot from 21 March to 21 June 2025, or while stock lasted. Long Range dropped to 299,900 DKK (100,000 off list), Performance to 349,900 DKK (130,000 off). Wing Edition is not mentioned in the press release.

Long Range uses a rear motor at 440 Nm. Performance and Wing Edition add a 145 kW front induction motor and reach 757 Nm. Consumption is 16.8 kWh/100 km on Long Range and 19.2 on the two all-wheel-drive cars. Top speed is 200 km/h across the range. Kerb weight is 2,020 kg / 2,140 kg / 2,180 kg.

The Premium Comfort & Sound pack was 29,990 DKK extra on Long Range and Performance. Wing Edition included it. Sport seats in Nappa, cooling in the fronts, and soft-close on all four doors. The audio is Dynaudio from Skanderborg: 18 speakers on 860 W, with Dolby Atmos.

Wing Edition also got scissor front doors and adaptive chassis.

Dimensions and space

There is no cable well, so the charge cables have to be stored in the boot. XPENG Guru: it is deep, but the opening is narrow.

  • Length × width × height 4,888 × 1,896 × 1,450 mm
  • Wheelbase 2,998 mm · track 1,615 / 1,621 mm
  • Seats 5 · ISOFIX on the two outer rear seats
  • Boot 440 l · 915 l with the rear seats folded
  • Frunk none on the Europe facelift
  • Cd 0.236
  • Panoramic glass roof Fixed panoramic glass roof standard (does not open / no traditional sunroof functionality).
  • Towing not possible

Platform and charging

It uses a 400 V platform. Peak DC is 175 kW, and 10-80% takes 29 minutes. G6, G9 and P7+ are 800 V, with peaks in the 400 kW class. AC is 11 kW three-phase (30-80% from 5.1 h, 0-100% from 10 h). V2L is 3.3 kW from the charge port; the adapter was sold separately.

X-HP 2.0 is standard, and that is the hardware that sets this car apart from the 2021 Norway cars. Those charged at about 90 kW DC, had no heat pump, and kept a small frunk. The facelift dropped the frunk for the pump. Front double wishbone, rear multi-link. Active grille shutter, rain sensor, hidden handles, frameless doors, panoramic roof, Brembo brakes. XPENG’s own lab figure for 100-0 km/h is 33 m on 19″ Michelin tyres.

Safety

Euro NCAP 2023 gave the P7 five stars (left-hand drive, 2,020 kg, 2023 protocol). Adult occupant 87%, child occupant 81%, vulnerable road users 81%, safety assist 78%.

  • Cabin stable in the offset test; driver chest rated marginal (compression) in offset and full-width. Passenger protection was good. Side pole: full points.
  • Seven airbags. Far-side excursion marginal; the occupant-to-occupant countermeasure performed well. No child presence detection.
  • AEB scored well on pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists, and well on other vehicles too - apart from the head-on scenarios, where it took no points. VRU head protection is poor on the A-pillars.
  • Doors can be opened within two minutes of power loss if the car enters water; XPENG did not show how long the windows stay powered.

Cabin and equipment

A 10.25″ cluster and a 14.96″ centre screen run on a Snapdragon 8155. Four-zone Hey XPENG and OTA are standard. Wireless phone charging sits on the console, with USB-C, USB-A and a 12 V socket. The rear bench is 60/40; the tailgate is electric with a kick sensor. The driver seat is 8-way, the passenger 6-way, both with memory. Front and rear seats are heated, and so is the wheel. Dual-zone climate plus XfreeBreath PM2.5. Standard audio is an 8-speaker XPENG surround. Cars shipped with an NFC key card plus the phone key; see the Digital Key guide.

XPENG Guru: rear headroom is low. At 190 cm I could barely sit upright in a showroom car without touching the glass roof.

A mild 2024 update upgraded the infotainment: factory Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. XPENG calls those cars P7 (2024) in the release notes from around April 2024. If you are looking at a used P7 from mid-2024, check the infotainment for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. That tells you whether it has the newer hardware.

The software is the same as on the other European models: XOS 5.9.5, August 2026. Customized parking, Google search in navigation, and CarPlay / Android Auto split-screen did not come to P7. What each model got is in the XOS 5.9.5 release note.

Assisted driving

XPILOT ASSIST 2.5 runs on one NVIDIA Orin-X, the chip from the facelift. In Europe that means highway assist and parking. China’s City NGP is not on this car.

On the official lists: 5 millimetre-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors (14 on Wing Edition), 4 surround cameras, 7 high-resolution cameras, 1 cabin camera. Driving functions: adaptive cruise (ACC), lane centring (LCC), adaptive turning cruise (ATC), automatic lane change (ALC) and the automatic speed limiter (ASL). Parking: EAP 2.0 and AEP, a 360 camera and a transparent underbody view.

Europe and Denmark

The European launch was on 3 February 2023, with deliveries from June. The shops then were in Oslo, The Hague, Stockholm and Copenhagen. The Hillerød HQ and showroom opened the same day you could order. G9 arrived in September.

Danish P7s have a 7-year / 160,000 km factory warranty. It started as a campaign in 2023 and was later made standard. Battery and drive unit: 8 years. Paint 3 years, perforation 12 years, EU roadside 5 years. Service interval 12 months / 20,000 km. About 400 P7s have been registered in Denmark. The figures are under Registrations.

Q&A

No. This page is the first-generation Europe facelift (E28aV). P7+ is the F57 fastback sold in Denmark now, and New P7 is the E29, China only. Side by side under Which P7 is this.

No. The car is discontinued. Campaign prices are under Trims.

Scissor front doors and adaptive chassis, plus the Premium pack. The 2025 clearance release does not mention Wing Edition.

No.

Yes. But only cars from mid-2024. Check the infotainment for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Outside China, VLA 2.0 needs at least two Turing chips. This first-generation Europe P7 has one NVIDIA Orin-X. China named that distillate VLA 2.0 Lite in August 2026 (G9L Max first); it has not been named for other markets.

As of August 2026 XPENG has named L03, G9L and every later model. This car is not in that group. When that is settled for the rest of the lineup, XPENG will say so officially. Background: XPENG and Google Maps.

Snapdragon 8155, on every first-generation Europe P7. New G6 Long Range / Performance and G9 MY25 use Snapdragon 8295.

No. All XPENG models (including the P7) come standard with a fixed panoramic glass roof with no opening functionality (no traditional sunroof).

XPENG publishes the peak power and the 10-80% time, not the curve, so that comes from third parties. EV Database lists the 10-80% time per charger type, and EVKX plots the curve itself. Both are other people’s measurements and models, not XPENG figures, and the numbers move with temperature and the charger. EVKX has no European RWD Long Range page.
