XPENG put the P7 on sale in Norway on 27 October 2021 in two versions: rear-wheel-drive Super Long Range from NOK 447,820 and four-wheel-drive High Performance from NOK 507,820. Above them sat the P7 Wing with its scissor doors at NOK 599,900, in limited stock. It was the brand’s second model in the country after the G3.
The battery was 80 kWh. XPENG quoted up to 530 km WLTP for the rear-wheel-drive car and 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds for the four-wheel-drive one, a figure each. The car ran XPILOT 2.5 and Xmart OS with an English interface and English voice control. Dynaudio surround sound and wrap-around cabin lighting came with it. Test drives started in mid-November.
The figure that changed drivetrain
Eleven months later XPENG rewrote it. In September 2022 the same 530 km WLTP belongs to the all-wheel-drive car, and the 4.5 seconds has lost its drivetrain qualifier. The two releases tie the figures to different drivetrains, so a P7 number from that period needs the version read alongside it.
The car nobody else got
When XPENG opened its Bjørvika store in Oslo on 19 May 2022, the P5 and the G3i went on sale the same day, and Norway became the first European country with the full range. The G3i was the facelifted G3: a robot face with 108 LEDs, hidden door handles, a coral green paint XPENG traced to Chinese porcelain, the panoramic windscreen carried over, XPILOT 2.5 as standard, vehicle-to-load and a Bluetooth digital key. Finance ran through Nordea, insurance through Gjensidige. The G3i never reached Denmark.
The Oslo store was the fourth. XPENG names Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands as the three before it, but the archive holds no release for the Copenhagen opening. The Danish store exists only as an aside in a Norwegian press release.
The X2 flying car stood in the store before moving on to the EVS35 conference in Oslo that June.
Where it led
Norway has since become the market where XPENG is the biggest Chinese car brand, and the 10,000th car was handed over in Norway in May 2026 and in Denmark in August the same year. The XPENG P7 page has the car and the markets page has the countries.
