XPENG announced launch events on 27 January 2025 in Dublin the same day and in Helsinki on 29 January. The partners are Motor Distributors Limited in Ireland and Inchcape in Finland.

Finland opened with both the G9 and the G6, Ireland with the G6 only.
A month later, on 26 February, Inchcape also became the exclusive dealer in Poland with sales starting in the second quarter and three models: the P7, G9 and G6. The next day Hedin Mobility Group became importer in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, also from the second quarter. Hedin was already XPENG’s retailer in Belgium and Luxembourg, and XPENG became the group’s fourteenth brand. Hedin has more than 12,500 employees in 14 countries and sold more than 218,000 cars in 2023.
From preliminary release to launch
The figures in the February release were not the final ones. When XPENG actually launched in Poland on 7 April 2025, the warranty was seven years, not five, and the cars came with a full service package and the Polish NaszEauto grant. Seven years matches what the German release of November 2024 and the Danish one that December state, both to 160,000 km.
The sound system in the G9 changed name between the two Polish releases: in February an XOpera system with 22 speakers, in April a 2,150 W Dynaudio system with the same number. The Danish newsroom described a European G9 with 18 in December 2024.
For fast charging the February release gives up to 120 km of range in five minutes, where the German releases five months earlier mentioned 100 km.
The strategy in numbers
The January release sets out XPENG’s aim of a significant share of the European market for cars priced at EUR 40,000 and above. The company also intended to be in more than 60 markets worldwide by the end of 2025, and the long-term goal was for half of sales to come from markets outside China.
Alex Tang, head of international sales and service, called Poland the company’s largest market in Central and Eastern Europe. Anders Hedin, CEO of Hedin Mobility Group, said innovation, sustainability and smart technology are XPENG’s hallmarks and fit the group’s ambition to offer customers more than a car.
The markets page has the list today, and the XPENG G6 page has the car Ireland opened with.
