XPENG entered the Mexican market on 25 March 2026 with the G6 and G9. The G6 starts at 819,900 pesos for Long Range, 889,900 for Performance AWD and 919,900 for Black Edition, and the G9 at 1,099,900 pesos for Long Range and up to 1,259,900 for Performance AWD. The first 100 customers received 20,000 pesos off any G6.
Three dealer groups cover Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, and the first dealers were, as planned, to open on 6 April. There is a national spare-parts warehouse of 1,000 square metres with more than 2,000 part numbers, and delivery time is given as one to three days to the main areas and three to five days in the rest of the country.
The European scorecard
XPENG attached two narrowly bounded European sales placements to the models.
The first: the G6 is now in more than 40 countries and regions and is the best-selling mid-size electric car among Chinese NEV brands in markets such as Norway, Germany and Spain. NEV covers both battery cars and plug-in hybrids, so the placement holds for a narrower group than the class as a whole.
The second: the G9 is the only Chinese car on the list of bestsellers in Europe’s large and mid-size electric-car class and is number one in its segment in nine countries, including Italy and Germany. Only two of the nine countries are named.
XPENG states neither data source, nor the period covered, nor which list the two placements come from.
Global presence
The count covers 60 countries and regions worldwide, among them the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia and Thailand.
Alex Tang, head of international development, called Mexico a strategic market for XPENG in Latin America and globally, and said the company is leading the transition to physical AI.
Both cars are on 800 volts with silicon carbide and 5C charging and carry XPILOT ASSIST, which according to XPENG covers motorway driving, driving in city traffic, automated parking and Smart Summon. The release states neither power, range, test cycle nor charging time.
The registration figures show how the models sell in Denmark, and the markets page shows where XPENG is present. Number 100,000 outside China came four months later.
