XOS 5.9.5 went to selected users on 26 June 2026 and rolled out generally from Monday 29 June, spread over roughly a week. If it had not arrived within seven days, the local service centre could push it directly to the car’s VIN. Those dates are in the Belgian version; the Danish release of 30 June gives none.
It is the largest single update in XPENG’s European range. The full list is in the release note for XOS 5.9.5. What follows is about the releases themselves.
Two features that appear only in the Danish text
The Danish release says that with this update the P7+ and the New G6 gain one-pedal drive, where the car brakes all the way to a stop when you lift off. It also says that after an automatic emergency stop, additional measures activate to protect against being hit from behind.
Neither appears in the Dutch or French versions, and translation does not explain it. The two Belgian texts are the longer documents. They carry a dozen items the Danish one lacks: starred-contact syncing, radio improvements, hill-start behaviour, headlights that can no longer be switched off while driving, a fix for the heated steering wheel switching itself off after half an hour, and video guides in the digital owner’s manual.
A shorter text dropping detail is ordinary. A shorter text adding two features is not. Either Denmark received a market-specific build or the Belgian lists are incomplete. That is worth confirming before one-pedal drive is used as an argument, because it is exactly the kind of claim a buyer will check.
What all three lists agree on
Split screen for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with an XPENG app on the other half and XDOCK staying visible so climate and volume remain in reach. Location-based XCOMBO automations triggered by approaching or leaving a saved place; the Belgian text adds a 200-metre minimum radius and a requirement for the latest app, which the Danish one does not. Calendar import via .ics and .ical links.
Voice control can now hold a continuous conversation without “Hey XPENG” before each command; you end it by saying goodbye or by letting 20 seconds pass. It also reaches air-vent direction, XGUARD, wireless charging, the child lock and the Mindfulness Room.
Navigation destination search now uses Google search data. All three texts say search data; none of them says Google Maps.
On charging, compatibility with Tesla Superchargers of versions 3 and 4 is considerably improved, cold-weather charging is better, low-temperature battery thermal management is optimised, and both state of charge and remaining range are calculated more accurately. NG eCall places an automatic emergency call after a serious incident.
One detail about XPILOT ASSIST
The Belgian text says the stronger acceleration after a manual lane change with adaptive cruise active applies to European vehicles with left-hand drive. The Danish text says only that it applies on the motorway, without that qualifier.
The update landed just under three weeks before XPENG said its navigation outside China runs on Google Maps. The XOS version history has the whole sequence.
