The G9L’s European reveal campaign is under way ahead of the Paris Motor Show. On 29 September, XPENG Global shared an interview with Sven De Smet, Head of Brand and Product Europe, while XPENG Denmark posted a short teaser. On 30 September, XPENG Global released a poster announcing the car’s public debut in Paris and a planned launch across 64 markets worldwide.

Positioned above the current G9, the larger SUV now has four colour names in its international campaign: Waving Green, Mirror Gray, Diamond Black and Arctic White. These differ from the names in the Chinese configurator. The colour campaign includes no European option prices.
The interviews introduce design and powertrain
Joan Melenchon discusses the design; Jacky Gu covers the powertrain. XPENG’s text accompanying Gu’s interview quotes a 10-to-80% charge in 12 minutes and over 400 km of driving range. It does not identify the range standard, battery variant or test conditions. The figure therefore cannot yet be treated as a European WLTP specification.
Sven De Smet, Head of Brand and Product Europe, appears in a third interview. Its accompanying post presents the G9L as a car for both work and family life. The films carry a visible qualification: the vehicle shown is the Chinese-market version, and the European version may differ.
European specifications are still to come
Danish prices, WLTP ranges and the equipment fitted to each trim remain open. The European premiere is announced for the Paris Motor Show on 12 October at 10:30 CEST.
The European G9L page covers what is known about the car for this market. G9L in China has the Chinese trims, prices and technical details, which cannot yet be treated as European specifications. The interviews and colour film are under Videos; the posters are in the gallery.
