The announcement came on 2 July 2026, and it was exact: Munich, 16 July, 14:00.
Technical data and prices were to be published on premiere day. The same held for the technology in the car and the launch plan for Europe. Claes Persson, managing director of XPENG Norway, said he had high expectations for what the model could mean for sales in Norway.
In China the L03 belongs to Mona, XPENG’s budget sub-brand, which XPENG announced in April 2024 and since expanded into a series. The name is not used in Europe, where the car is sold only as the XPENG L03, and that is the name you meet in the configurator and at the dealer. The series’ first model, the M03, is a different car.
