XPENG delivered 10,125 cars in May 2022. That was 78 percent more than the same month a year earlier, split across three models: 4,224 P7s, 3,686 P5s and 2,215 G3s. The first five months of the year came to 53,688 cars.
For comparison, XPENG delivered 40,126 cars in June 2026 and 39,107 in August 2026. A single month in 2026 is around three quarters of all of January to May 2022.
The 2022 release carries one detail that dates it. XPENG resumed double-shift production at its Zhaoqing plant in mid-May, because supply chains in China were slowly recovering. Its charging network in China stood at 954 self-managed stations at the end of April 2022, 774 of them fast chargers.
