The first European-built G9L is ready for the journey to Paris. On 7 October, XPENG announced that the model had completed its first trial build at Magna in Graz, Austria.

G9L becomes the fourth XPENG model from the factory, joining the G6, G9 and P7+, which are already in production there.
Testing before deliveries
The first pre-production car is to travel 1,324 km from Graz to Paris before its premiere. XPENG says the journey will test charging, safety and driving performance on European roads.

The trial confirms that a G9L has now been built in Europe. The announcement does not set a date for customer deliveries.

XPENG has announced that European prices will be revealed and orders will open at the Paris Motor Show launch on 12 October, following the model’s September unveiling in China.
Announced European details and the remaining open questions are covered on the G9L page.
