XPENG plans to introduce Master Agent in its cars with Turing AI

XPENG intends to introduce Master Agent in its cars. At its Physical AI Showcase & All-New VLA 2.0 Experience Day on 27 August 2026, the company described an AI function the driver can ask to pull over, park nearby or find the way, even when the destination is only roughly described.

XPENG links the function to Turing AI and stated that the third chip is now operational. According to the presentation, the three chips together will control the whole vehicle.

Real-time processing and model scale

During the same presentation XPENG stated that VLA 2.0 version 6.3.0 remembers the preceding 30 seconds and predicts events six seconds ahead.

XPENG also gave the model size and response time for VLA 2.0. Version 6.3.0 has 3.5 times as many parameters as its predecessor and 15 times as many as mainstream VLA models, and its response time is according to XPENG improved by 300 percent, intended to provide smoother braking and steering. It is the largest model XPENG has put in the car itself so far.
