XPENG demonstrates NGP in the L03 at the Paris Motor Show

Visitors to the Paris Motor Show from 12 to 18 October can experience XPENG’s NGP driver-assistance system as passengers in an L03. The demonstration rides take place in the show’s official Autonomous Lab, where XPENG and Tesla are the only carmakers. XPENG calls it its first large-scale NGP demonstration-ride programme outside China, the company said on 1 October. Visitors can sign up for a demonstration ride at XPENG’s stand A51 in Hall 6. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, according to XPENG.

For customers in Europe, NGP is not yet available. XPENG is aiming for a global rollout in 2027, as set out in the story on NGP in 2027, and is adapting the system to European roads from its development centre in Munich.

The G9L has its global launch on 12 October. XPENG’s press conference is set for 11:10-11:25 on stand A51 in Hall 6, where XPENG will announce European prices and open orders. The European G9L page covers what is known about the car so far.

The stand covers more than 1,000 m² and is laid out as a “Physical AI Museum”. Besides the G9L, L03, P7+, G6, G9 and X9, it shows the IRON robot and XPENG’s flying cars. The evening before, Sunday 11 October, XPENG hosts a brand evening with a fireside chat and dinner in Paris.

XPENG also says the L03 will soon reach its first European customers, and that it has delivered more than 60,000 cars in Europe.
