Smart Cabin
Split-Screen Multitasking
- The central touchscreen now supports a split screen. You can switch between full and split screen views by dragging the screen split line horizontally.
- Supports customizing the content on the smaller split screen, where you can display the map, Realtime VR Assist, music, and the browser. Click the screen split line to switch to displaying a new app.
- You can open different apps in the larger section of the split screen. For example, the driver’s screen can display navigation, while the passenger screen can play videos and music.
Gesture-Based Interactions
- Optimizes the interaction when swiping down with three fingers to return to the home page. Using the gesture on a split screen allows you to close the apps you have open from the larger section and return to the desktop. The response to the interaction is now faster.
- Supports swiping horizontally with three or four fingers to swap the positions of two windows. Note that this gesture does not trigger interaction on the full screen.
- The XDock section is not available for these gesture-based interactions. When the gesture is applied, the status bar will be hidden, but the XDock section remains visible.
XDock Customization
- Supports customized XDock layouts. If you long-press any area in the XDock section, you can customize it by rearranging the app or function icons as desired. This provides easier access to frequently used apps or functions.
- You can drag and drop icons from various functions, apps, and shortcuts into the empty area of XDock. In this way, you can combine different functionalities in one place and define your own XDock.
- To remove an icon from the bottom taskbar, tap the remove symbol in the upper right corner of the icon during the XDock customization mode or drag the icon into the App Store. Then tap XDock or the empty area of the taskbar again to exit editing.
- The capabilities of the XDock components are scalable and will support a wider range of scenarios in future OTA upgrades.
3D Surrounding Reality Rendering in P-Gear
- Supports the rendering of Surrounding Reality while parked (P). This includes the 3D model of the vehicle and natural light details at different times of the day. The 3D vehicle model reflects the colors and exterior design of the original, including wheel hubs and markings. Opening and closing doors, windows, and exterior lighting status are shown in real-time.
- Supports opening/closing the tailgate, charge port cover, scissor doors, and more by tapping the hotspots on the 3D vehicle model. You can also execute these actions by tapping the 2D buttons under the 3D model. (Available car controls depend on specific XPENG models).
- You can tap the wheel hub area to check your tire pressure and see tire pressure information.
- Displays natural light based on the hours of sunrise and sunset at the vehicle’s location. Time zones cover sunrise, day, dusk, and night.
- Supports Range Energy Display, which shows the remaining range, available battery capacity, and the average energy consumption over the last 100 kilometers.
- Displays charging and discharging details, including charge/discharge states, key info, the charging power curve, and the start/stop buttons for charging/discharging.
Account Memory
- Supports account memory functionality. After logging into your account and accepting the data upload policy, your driving habits and other preferences for using the vehicle will be saved to the account. When logging in again after logging out or doing a factory reset, the saved habits and preferences will be synchronized.
- A set of driving habits includes the position of the driver’s seat, the steering wheel, and the side mirrors. You can store up to 6 sets of driving habits.
- You can customize the names of driving habits based on specific scenarios, such as long car trips and short breaks in the car.
- You can synchronize driver assistance feature settings across different XPENG models. For example, if you enabled door opening warnings on an XPENG G9, the same feature will automatically be enabled after logging into your account on an XPENG P7 (2023).
Brand New Avatar and Voice for XPENG Assistant

- Supports two new light signals for vehicle unlocking: Growing and Surrounding. By default, the Growing light signal is enabled. Additionally, there are new light signals for Supercharging. You can configure the light signals in [Settings - Lights - Headlights].
- Optimizes ambient light modes. You can select two colors for the ambient light in the Follows Speed mode or Music Rhythm mode.
- Supports automatically switching headlights to Auto while driving. Headlights automatically return to the automatic mode if you shift out of P and the headlights are not set to auto or low beam.
Enhanced Navigation Experience
- EV Charging Route Planning: For long trips, the navigation system can plan routes via charging stations along the route based on your charging settings. It can also display charger information, distances, recommended charging times, charging durations, and more.
- Supports Large Map on the Dashboard: You can switch to the large map mode on the dashboard to display more content and details for navigation.
- Supports Split Screens: The navigation map is available for both full screen and split screen mode. You can intuitively switch between them.
- New Map Styles: The map pattern, element rendering, navigation, and other visual effects and features have been enhanced with more vibrant details and more accurate guidance.
- Supports setting and displaying [Favorites]: Besides home and work, you can set the system to navigate to frequently visited locations with one click. The distance and route are automatically displayed.
- Offline Map Downloading and Management: You can download offline maps for specific regions, allowing you to plan routes without an internet connection.
- Notes for Special Cases: If a ferry ride is needed or a route crosses different time zones, you will receive notifications to keep you better informed of your routes.
Amazon Music & Browser
- Supports Amazon Music. You can use this streaming app to listen to music and podcasts in your car.
- Launches a proprietary web browser supporting web content ranging from news and music to videos and social networking sites.
- On the central touchscreen, you can use the browser full screen. You can also split the screen in two: one side for the browser and the other for apps. On the entertainment screen, you can also use the browser in full view for an immersive experience.
- You can save frequently visited sites to your browser’s start page by tapping the “Favorite on Home Page” shortcut on the top toolbar. Audio content heavily plays in the background even after docking the browser.
Language Updates
- Language settings have been moved to [General - Language and Time].
- Supports 15 languages, including Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Danish, Dutch, British English, American English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, and Thai.
Expanded Speech Functionality
- In private mode, voices can be played through the front seats. Besides the driver, all other occupants have access to voice functions.
Safety Warnings for Manual Driving
- Supports more safety risk detections during manual driving scenarios. Warnings are invoked via the Surrounding Realities interface or via audible alerts.
- Blind Spot Detection during startup: Pedestrians, children, and animals that pose a collision risk are detected in the blind spot when the vehicle starts.
- Front Vehicle Risk Detection: Potential dangers, such as sudden braking by the car in front or merging, are detected while driving.
- Temporarily Parked Vehicles Risk Detection: While driving, a car temporarily parked along the road is detected, helping prevent rear-end collisions.
- Pedestrian/Non-Motorized Vehicle Risk: While driving, a pedestrian or a non-motorized vehicle about to cross or merge in front of you is detected to avoid collisions.
- Lane Change Risk Detection: When changing lanes, a car approaching your vehicle from behind or from the side is detected.

Optimized Reverse Camera & Battery Percentage
- The image while reversing is enlarged and supports full-screen display.
- A new button called “Battery Percentage Display” is available. If you activate this function, the remaining battery capacity in percent and the remaining range in kilometers are simultaneously displayed on the dashboard and central touchscreen.
Intelligent Driving (XPILOT)
Active Safety
- 【Driver Drowsiness Warning (DDW)】 Starts the attention and drowsiness warning function for the driver. When the system detects signs of fatigue, an alarm sounds to remind the driver to stay focused or take a break.
- In compliance with traffic laws, DDW is enabled by default and cannot be disabled unless an alarm has been triggered. When the vehicle restarts, it returns to by-default enabled.
- Optimizes the DDW logic for fewer false disturbances.
- 【Intelligent High Beam (IHB)】 Increases the distance required to recognize oncoming vehicles and vehicles driving ahead of you, allowing the high beam to switch to low beam earlier, reducing annoyance for other road users.
Driver Assistance
- 【Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)】 Increases the max ACC speed to 150 km/h.
- Supports ACC in trailer mode. Max ACC speed in this scenario is 90 km/h.
- 【Lane Centering Control (LCC)】 Increases the maximum LCC speed to 150 km/h.
- Supports using the customized steering wheel button to enable or disable LCC.
- Supports automatic lateral avoidance of large vehicles when the system detects they are driving closely alongside your vehicle. These vehicles are highlighted in the Surrounding Reality interface.
- Improves LCC performance on broad roads, forks, intersections, and more for a better driving experience, including better centering in corners.
- Improves the driving experience when the vehicle ahead turns into or out of your lane. The system will accelerate earlier and brake much smoother to avoid abrupt braking.
- 【Road Segment Data Sharing】 Introduces a data sharing function that collects road element data and location data (anonymized) to update map data. Disabled by default.
Parking Assistant
- 【Intelligent Parking Assist (APA)】 Launches the Tracing Reverse function. Auto-reverses your vehicle along the most recently saved short route you just took (max 100 meters).
- Launches a parking function for fishbone (angled) parking spaces.
- Simplifies APA audio and reduces voice prompts for a quieter parking operation.
- Faster and more accurate recognition of empty spaces (number of available parking spots tripled).
- Improves parking in tight spaces. For perpendicular spaces, it now fits into width plus min 30 cm. For parallel, vehicle length plus 70 cm. Folds side mirrors when a scratching risk is detected.
- Optimization of wheel rotation paths limits do-overs, abrupt braking, and jerky stops. Improves auto exit-parking over potholes and inclines via the XPENG App.
Surrounding Reality (SR)
- 【Enhanced Detection】 Supports recognizing if a passenger is sitting on a non-motorized vehicle like a bicycle.
- Increases the display distance of a moving target on the SR interface when driving at high speeds by 50%.
Internet of Vehicles (IoV) App & Experience
- Remote Start: If your Bluetooth key fails, you can start your vehicle remotely via 4G or Wi-Fi (handy for car wash drops or rentals).
