In November 2024 XPENG published its warranty terms for the German market, and they are the most detailed the brand has set out anywhere in Europe. The vehicle warranty runs to seven years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first, conditional on regular inspections at an authorised XPENG partner. The battery has eight years up to 160,000 km.

The most important sentence is about how much the battery may lose. XPENG’s German text says the battery’s capacity will not fall below 70 percent within the warranty period. That is the figure a buyer needs, because a battery warranty without a capacity floor is a different product from one with it.
Roadside assistance runs for five years or 120,000 km across Europe, around the clock, through ARC Europe. It covers mechanical and electrical failure, a flat traction battery, lock and key problems and punctures. If the car cannot be fixed where it stands, it is towed to the nearest contracted workshop.
What the Danish terms say
XPENG Denmark’s own advent series in December 2024 set out the terms for Denmark, and they include two things no other market mentions: three years of paint warranty and twelve years against perforation. Servicing is due every twelve months or 20,000 km to keep the warranty alive. XPENG Denmark also uses BoxNow as an authorised mobile service partner, carrying out warranty repairs at the customer’s address with original parts.
The Danish text states the battery warranty twice with different mileages, 180,000 km in one instalment and 160,000 km three weeks later, and it does not mention the capacity floor. For a specific car it is that car’s warranty booklet that governs, and the 70 percent is worth looking up there.
One last detail says something about how XPENG sells cars. The German options list was metallic paint on the P7 and an electrically deployable tow bar on the G6 and G9. Everything else was standard.
The earlier half of this thread is in the story on the seven-year warranty from 2023. The markets page shows where XPENG sells.
