XPENG had delivered 620,000 cars when Britain opened

XPENG opened pre-orders in the United Kingdom on 12 February 2025 with the G6 from £39,990 and deliveries planned from March. Twenty dealerships were to open across the country during the year. The distributor is International Motors, appointed in November 2024, a well-established distributor with almost 50 years’ experience in Britain.

Britain was Europe’s largest EV market in 2024 and one of the most significant right-hand-drive markets anywhere. The G6 went on sale as the first model, while the P7+, G9, X9 and the flying X2 were shown at the launch. Logistics run through a preparation port at Sheerness and a bonded warehouse of some 22,000 square metres at West Bromwich.

Global deliveries

At the launch XPENG stated that it had delivered more than 620,000 cars in total since it started in 2014. Eighteen months later, in August 2026, the company announced that it had reached 100,000 cars outside China alone, as that story sets out.

The same release names two agreements from January 2025, with Volkswagen and bp pulse, to build out a network of fast chargers in China. The market list grew with Finland and the United Kingdom to fourteen European countries.

The XPENG G6 page has the version sold today. The British launch used the original G6, ahead of the update to the New G6. The markets page shows where XPENG sells.
