XPENG launched the Mona L05 in China on 29 October 2026 at “Mona World”, an event XPENG describes as an owners’ gathering and the launch in one. The five-seat SUV comes in six versions: four fully electric versions (EV) and two versions with a range extender (EREV). The cheapest, the 560 Plus, costs CN¥139,800 when ordered during the introductory offer. That is the Chinese price; the European price has not been published.
Six versions and the introductory offer
XPENG’s introductory prices apply in China, where the car can be ordered from 29 October until 24:00 on 15 December 2026. They are in yuan and do not apply to Europe.

The numbers in the version names are CLTC range in km: 560, 535 and 635 for the EV versions, and 1,310 km combined for the EREV versions. The guidance prices on XPENG’s configurator are CN¥144,800 for the 560 Plus, CN¥154,800 for the 535 Max and the 1310 Max, CN¥164,800 for the 635 Max, CN¥176,800 for the 635 Ultra SE and CN¥166,800 for the 1310 Ultra SE. For the five versions from the pre-sale, that is CN¥15,000 below the mid-October pre-sale prices; the 560 Plus is new at launch.
The introductory prices are the guidance prices less a cash reduction of CN¥5,000. XPENG puts the offer’s total value at more than CN¥49,000. Free during the offer are the front-seat pack with an AI-adaptive driver’s seat and a Zero Gravity passenger seat (worth CN¥9,999), the 20-speaker sound system (CN¥4,000) and purple or green paint (CN¥2,999). Discounted are the 17.3″ rear-seat screen, available only on the Max and Ultra SE (CN¥1,499 instead of CN¥5,999), the ROAM pack with sporty styling, its own 20″ wheels and Nappa leather (CN¥6,999 instead of CN¥9,999), and 20″ wheels with yellow calliper covers (CN¥4,000 instead of CN¥6,000).
Size, range and battery
The Mona L05 is 4,870 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,636 mm high, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase. The boot holds 702 L and extends to 1,913 L, and the EV versions have a washable 102 L front boot.
The EV versions have an LFP battery of 58.2 kWh in the 560 Plus and 535 Max and 71.1 kWh in the 635 versions. The EREV versions have a 37.2 kWh battery. All have a single rear motor of 183 kW and 280 Nm. DC fast charging from 10 to 80% takes at least 19.1 minutes in the EV versions and at least 14.7 minutes in the EREV versions, according to the configurator. All range figures are CLTC and say nothing about WLTP.
Driver assistance and cabin
The Ultra SE has the second-generation Turing VLA model and an effective computing power of 1,500 TOPS. The Max versions have VLA 2.0 Lite, a smaller form of the same second generation, which XPENG says keeps more than 90% of the full model’s capability through distillation. XPENG says the Mona shares its driver-assistance architecture with the Robotaxi cars.
The cabin has a 26.8″ W-HUD. The Mona L05 also carries Master Agent, XPENG’s new AI agent, which can plan trips and handle looser navigation requests.
Delivery and ROAM
XPENG has built 5,000 Mona L05, and a limited number of “准现车” (cars ready for delivery) can be locked in by payment. Deliveries in China begin on 1 November 2026. XPENG also launched a new silver (新月银) ROAM version for the Mona L05 and L03, due for delivery from January 2027.
