In November 2024 XPENG described the warranties for the P7, G6 and G9 on the German market. The vehicle warranty was up to seven years or 160,000 km, whichever came first. According to the announcement it required regular inspections at an authorised XPENG partner following the model’s service intervals.
The battery warranty was eight years or 160,000 km. XPENG gave 70 percent as the capacity floor within the warranty period.
Roadside assistance for German customers
The mobility service covered five years or 120,000 km with roadside assistance in Europe around the clock through ARC Europe. XPENG mentioned mechanical and electrical faults, a flat battery, lock or key issues and punctures. If the car could not be repaired on the spot, it was to be transported to the nearest contracted workshop.
Danish terms from December 2024
In December XPENG Denmark published an overview with a seven-year new-car warranty or 160,000 km. The high-voltage battery, the battery management system (BMS) and the drivetrain had eight years or 160,000 km. The overview also covered three years of paint warranty, twelve years against perforation and five years of roadside assistance in Europe.
The company recommended servicing every twelve months or every 20,000 km, whichever came first, to keep the warranty in force.
Mobile service
BoxNow was an authorised service partner and could carry out inspections and warranty repairs at the customer’s address with original parts. Ejner Hessel also offered service agreements, and the XPENG app could be used to book servicing.
