On 12 June 2025 XPENG published Norwegian prices for the X9 from NOK 699,900 with delivery planned for spring 2026. The seven-seat model was to come as Standard Range, Long Range and AWD Performance. The technical details were preliminary and subject to final type approval.
Three versions
The front-wheel-drive Standard Range had a stated battery of 94.8 kWh. For the Long Range XPENG gave 105 kWh, while the AWD Performance was the all-wheel-drive version.

The Standard Range was thus both the entry version and the one with the shortest stated charging time in the preliminary Norwegian list.
Equipment and the introductory offer
Every version was announced with an electrically deployable tow bar included in the price, valued by XPENG at NOK 12,900. The standard equipment also covered leather seats, electric sliding doors and a box that both cools and heats. Rear-seat passengers got a 21.4″ screen.
The X9 was also announced with dual-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering and 6 kW V2L. The car was 5.29 metres long with a wheelbase of 3.16 metres. The stated boot was 755 litres with seven seats in use and 2,554 litres with the third row folded.
The Premium package cost from NOK 49,988 and covered Nappa leather and wider second-row seats among other things. Until 8 September 2025 XPENG also offered three years of free servicing and a data plan, plus a NOK 5,000 charging voucher, to the first customers.
The figure a year and a half on
In the El Prix winter test in 2026 NAF measured the tested X9 at 12 minutes from 10 to 80 percent. XPENG said the charging test took place at minus 10 degrees. The later test is described in the story on the X9 in El Prix.
