On 12 November 2024 XPENG’s Norwegian newsroom wrote up AI Day in Guangzhou and bolted a Norwegian market section onto the end. That section is the reason to read the text.

XPENG had by then delivered more than 1,500 cars in Norway during 2024 through 14 sales locations. Counting service points as well, that makes 17 locations from Tromsø in the north to Kristiansand in the south. The agency partners are Bilia, Nardo Bil, Bil i Nord, Autostrada and Ålgårds Auto. The G9 and the New G6 are singled out as well received.
The release says Norway was the first country outside China where XPENG went on sale, back in 2020. The company’s own Norwegian release two months later says 2021 about the same thing. The first cars reached the country late in 2020, so 2020 is the year that holds.
Then there is the P7+. It launched in China on 7 November 2024 and took 30,000 orders in under two hours. The Norwegian text adds one sentence: the Norwegian launch date has not yet been set. Europe saw the car in Brussels in January 2026, with deliveries from April, more than a year later.
What the 1,500 became
1,500 cars in 2024 is the rung below the 10,000 cars Norway passed in May 2026 and Denmark in August that year and first place among Chinese brands in Norway. The markets page has the rest of the countries.
