The designer is Rafik Ferrag, who also shaped the first P7. The images and video went out through his own social channels.

The release highlights technologies such as the Turing Smart Driving driver assistance system, a voice-controlled cabin and an aerodynamic design language. Further technical details and information about the market launch were to be published later, according to XPENG.

According to chief executive He Xiaopeng the model is the manufacturer’s answer to the AI age in both form and function.

The first P7 took the Xuanyuan award for car of the year 2021 and five stars in C-NCAP, while the international P7 was awarded five Euro NCAP stars in 2023. Claes Persson, head of XPENG Norway, added that the brand has been in Norway for almost five years, is setting new sales records in 2025, and that the P7 was one of the first models to reach the country.

The New P7 page has the car as it is today, and the first P7 page has the one it all started with.
