The XPENG P7+ won a Red Dot Design Award in product design in May 2026. Red Dot has awarded design since 1955. An international jury judges the entries in three categories: design concepts, products, and brand and communication projects.

The P7+ costs from EUR 46,600 in Germany as a recommended price with 19 per cent VAT. XPENG stated at the same time a Tech Prämie of EUR 2,500 gross. Private leasing starts at EUR 445 gross a month and business leasing at EUR 355 net, both over 48 months and 10,000 km a year, with the premium already reflected in the monthly rate. The car had only just reached dealers.
Dimensions, cabin and technology
The P7+ is a five-seat fastback saloon of 5.07 metres with a drag coefficient of cW 0.211. The boot is 573 litres and up to 1,931 litres with the rear seats folded, on a load length of 2.10 metres.
The cabin has up to five displays, a cashmere-like microfibre velour headliner, a panoramic glass roof over both rows and ambient lighting in 256 colours.
XPENG calls it the brand’s first AI-defined model. It carries an intelligent computing platform and the Turing chip at up to 750 TOPS. Charging runs to 446 kW and 20 to 80 per cent in ten minutes on a 5C lithium iron phosphate battery, which is free of cobalt, manganese and nickel. The car comes in two battery sizes and with rear- or all-wheel drive.
The combined consumption is given as 15.2 to 17.4 kWh per 100 km.
Markus Schrick, head of XPENG’s Central Europe sales region, called the P7+ a coming design icon and added that the fastback saloon suits business use as well as a family.
The story of the P7+ in Denmark has the Danish side of the car, and the XPENG P7+ page has it as it is sold today.
