On 23 September 2025 XPENG announced that its charging partnerships now cover more than 2.4 million charging points across Europe and Asia Pacific. The occasion was a new deal with Charge Plus, adding more than 3,800 public charging points in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Two things are worth holding onto. The 2.4 million are partners’ charging points, not XPENG’s own, and the figure spans two regions. The European share is in practice the 940,000 points from the Plugsurfing deal in May 2025, so roughly one and a half million of the 2.4 sit outside Europe.
Charge Plus, on XPENG’s account, runs the largest public charging network in Singapore with more than 30 per cent of the market and stations along 5,000 km of highway across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. The first co-branded stations were already operating in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, with discounts for XPENG owners by the end of the year and live station status and navigation in the car.

The release says the first co-branded stations will offer up to 350 kW. The photograph in the same release shows the finished bay under a gantry sign reading, in large letters, DC 120 kW, and the charger’s own screen says the same. So the 350 kW is a future or best-case rating, not what opened.
The rest
The New G6 is described with full 800 volts, a 5C battery across every variant, 10 to 80 per cent in 12 minutes and a 451 kW peak, and XPENG adds that most electric cars on the market take 13 to 24 minutes. There is no source for that comparison, no test cycle, no temperature and no charger power. The battery is lithium iron phosphate, and consumption is given as 15.6 kWh per 100 km.
XPENG also promised one-step payment through the app by the end of 2025.
