XPENG showed the P7+ at the Paris Motor Show on 14 October 2024. It did so as a teaser for the European audience rather than as an on-sale announcement here, and said as much itself. At the same occasion the company showed its in-house Turing chip in Europe, designed for cars, robots and flying vehicles.

XPENG said from the stage that driver assistance was standard across the range with no subscription or fees. AI Hawkeye used two 8-megapixel cameras front and rear plus radar, and XPENG compared its performance with systems that required lidar and detailed maps. The platform was the 800 V architecture from the G9 and G6, and consumption was given as 11.6 kWh per 100 km with no test cycle stated. According to XPENG the boot could hold 33 carry-on suitcases with the rear seats folded.
The rollout of XNGP
XPENG said XNGP covered all cities, routes and road types for customers in China. The motorway part had been tested in Germany, and a global development of the functions was to follow in 2025. The company’s later announcement about NGP for new models in Europe points to 2027, as the story on NGP sets out.
XPENG also counted itself at the same event: 11 European markets, 30 countries in total, three cars in Europe each with five Euro NCAP stars, more than 500,000 vehicles produced, and a target of over 60 markets by the end of 2025. The French president, Emmanuel Macron, also visited the stand, where the AEROHT X2 flying car was on show.
The XPENG P7+ page has the version sold today, and the XOS history shows which software versions arrived when.
