XPENG began internal testing of its robotaxis on 15 July 2026. He Xiaopeng rode along as the first passenger, the company said the same day.
The first mass-produced robotaxi came off the line in Guangzhou in May 2026, and it sits on the GX platform with four Turing chips and 3,000 TOPS. The XPENG Robotaxi page covers the model’s technology and functions, and the XPENG GX page covers the platform.
The testing is in China. The announcement gave no timetable for Europe.
