XPENG intends to roll NGP out globally in 2027. He Xiaopeng and Xianming Liu said so in a video XPENG posted on 18 July 2026, where they also described how the system is being localised for European roads and everyday European driving.
The year does not stand alone. On the earnings call of 24 August, XPENG said it is aiming for EU approval in the first half of 2027, so that the second generation of VLA can reach more markets outside China.
