What concerns Europe

The part that matters to a European reader was said on the earnings call the same day, as reported by CnEVPost. He Xiaopeng expects L03 deliveries outside China to begin in the fourth quarter and to lift sales outside China above 40,000 cars a quarter. In Denmark the L03 can be ordered now with deliveries from September or October; the XPENG L03 page has the details.

The second date concerns driver assistance. XPENG is aiming for EU approval in the first half of 2027, so that the second generation of VLA can roll out to more markets outside China. Which chips the European cars run today, and what separates the markets, is set out in the driver-assistance hardware and software guide.

The third is the L05, which launches in China in the fourth quarter of 2026. No European date has been set, and the XPENG L05 page tracks it. The G9L comes first, with its launch and first deliveries in China in September, while the European version has a page of its own. Together the models are meant to take XPENG past 60,000 cars a month in the fourth quarter, according to He Xiaopeng.
