Platform & charging

Both Danish trims list up to 446 kW DC and about 12 minutes for 10-80% at peak. AC is 11 kW three-phase, 5-100% from roughly 8.5 hours. V2L is 6 kW at 230 V; the adapter is sold separately.

Built to look after you - on every trip - The battery is thoroughly tested to 37 safety standards, so you can drive with confidence every day.

Front suspension is double wishbone, the rear a five-link independent setup, with continuous damping control on both trims. Kerb weight is 2,130 kg on Long Range and 2,200 kg on Performance. Thermal management is XPENG’s X-HP 3.0, one system heating both pack and cabin.

Safety

Euro NCAP has not published an assessment of the P7+ (checked 18 August 2026). The closest tested XPENG models are the P7 (2023) and G6 (2024), both five stars.

  • 7 airbags are standard.
  • The passenger cell uses ultra-high-strength steel; XPENG says the battery has passed 37 safety standards.
  • The assistance functions that carry the safety case - the AEB suite, driver monitoring, blind-spot and door-open warnings - are under Assisted driving.

Cabin & tech

Comfort seats as standard.

Nappa leather, a microfibre suede headliner and OEKO-TEX-certified eco-leather; heated, ventilated, massaging front seats are standard on both Danish trims, and the rear seat gets its own fold-out table and entertainment screen.

Luxury comfort seats as standard - All front seats come as standard with heating, ventilated backrests and cushions, and a massage function.

XPENG has put numbers on the cabin noise in its own P7+ NVH video, and they go further than the 26 dB on the Danish model page. Active road-noise cancellation is standard, and an active motor-noise cancellation trims powertrain noise by up to 10 dB. The front-row glass is acoustic laminate, quoted at 5 dB or more off the overall level and 3 dB off high-frequency noise, and the body is stiffened to 40,500 N·m/deg partly for the same reason. Underneath sits the insulation the Brussels press release lists: 62 targeted noise-reduction points, 26 cavity barriers and 36 sound-absorbing elements. XPENG’s own meter readings in the video: 56.7 dB at 70 km/h in town, 64.6 dB at 100 km/h on an urban expressway and 59 dB at 120 km/h on a motorway, which says as much about the road surface as about the car. The press release and the configurators say nothing about the active systems; the video is the only European XPENG source that does, so read the dB figures as XPENG’s own, not as a test.

A quiet and balanced cabin - Active noise reduction gives a markedly calmer cabin, down to 26 dB.

Assisted driving

XPILOT ASSIST runs on one Turing XP5 chip with 3 millimetre-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 11 cameras. The German spec sheet lists the functions: adaptive cruise (ACC), lane centring (LCC), adaptive turning cruise (ATC), automatic lane change (ALC), speed assist, driver fatigue monitoring, the AEB suite, blind-spot and rear-cross-traffic warnings, parking assist (APA/AEP/RPA), a 360° camera and the transparent-chassis view.

The full VLA 2.0 driving model runs on the three-chip cars in China. A one-chip distillate, VLA 2.0 Lite, is now named there (G9L Max first); XPENG has not said, as of August 2026, whether it comes to the European P7+.

Availability

XPENG launched the P7+ for Europe at the Brussels Motor Show on 9 January 2026, with deliveries in 25 markets from April. Pilot production runs at Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, and the €43,990 headline price is the Standard Range in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

P7+ reached Denmark in January 2026 and deliveries only picked up in the summer: 10 cars were registered by the end of June, 66 followed in July and 98 in August, 174 in all by 30 August 2026, and another 244 stood in the register created from their CoC papers but not yet registered. The monthly numbers sit under Registrations.

Q&A

They are separate model lines. P7+ is the 5.07 m liftback on this page; the P7 is the older sports sedan, and its second generation (New P7) is sold in China only. The model timeline is under Lineup history.

RWD Long Range at 530 km WLTP. AWD Performance shares the same 74.9 kWh pack and lands at 500 km because of the second motor.

Not at every public fast charger. XPENG’s figure assumes up to 446 kW DC, while the fastest public posts in Europe reach about 400 kW and most motorway stalls run 300-350 kW. The networks keep replacing older posts, so more and more of them can deliver what the car will take. An 800 V pack still holds a flatter curve on the same stall than a typical 400 V car; plan around what the stop actually delivers.

1,500 kg braked and 750 kg unbraked. The electronic swivel towbar that enables it is on the options list - the price is under Dimensions & practicality. A bike rack on the towbar is the everyday use XPENG shows on its own P7+ page.

Euro NCAP has not published an assessment (checked 18 August 2026). What is documented is in the Safety section: 7 airbags, an ultra-high-strength steel cell and XPENG’s 37-standard battery test claim.

Outside China, VLA 2.0 needs at least two Turing chips. P7+ has one Turing XP5. China named that distillate VLA 2.0 Lite in August 2026 (G9L Max first); it has not been named for other markets.

As of August 2026 XPENG has named L03, G9L and every later model. This car is not in that group. When that is settled for the rest of the lineup, XPENG will say so officially. Background: XPENG and Google Maps.

Periodically, yes. Both Danish P7+ trims, and the German Standard Range listed here, are LFP. A full charge calibrates the state of charge. XPENG stated the reminder trigger in XOS 5.2.5: 14 days or 1,000 km without a full charge.

XPENG publishes the peak power and the 10-80% time, not the curve, so that comes from third parties. EV Database lists the 10-80% time per charger type, and EVKX plots the curve itself. Both are other people’s measurements and models, not XPENG figures, and the numbers move with temperature and the charger. EV Database: Standard Range · Long Range · AWD Performance. EVKX charging curve: Standard Range · Long Range · AWD Performance.

No. All XPENG models (including the P7+) come standard with a fixed panoramic glass roof with no opening functionality (no traditional sunroof). The roof features integrated UV and thermal insulation.

Yes, according to XPENG’s own P7+ NVH video: active road-noise cancellation is standard, and an active motor-noise cancellation cuts powertrain noise by up to 10 dB. The European press release and the configurators mention neither system, so the video is the only official source for it. The L03 Ultra and the G9L carry the same ENC + RNC pairing. Figures under Cabin & tech.

Yes, by a Danish owner’s account. Søren Rathje Jensen tried XPENG’s Sleeping Kit, the inflatable mattress made for the G9, in his P7+ with the rear seats folded: it follows the shape of the boot and gives a flat, comfortable surface for a night in the car. The one snag was the pump. The automatic inflation did not work on his second-hand kit, so he pumped by hand, and he puts that down to a loose connector rather than the car. Reported in the Xpeng P7+ - Danmark group, 3 September 2026.
